न्यायालय हर ऐसी दस्तावेज का असली होना उपधारित करेगा जिसका लन्दन गजट, या कोइ्र शासकी राजपत्र या ब्रिटिश क्राउन के किसी उपनिवेश, आश्रित देश या कब्जाधीन क्षे, का सरकारी राजपत्र होना या कोइ्र समाचार-पत्र या जर्नल होना, या यूनाइटेड किंगडम की पार्लियामेंट के प्राइवेट ऐक्ट की स्वीन्स प्रिंटर द्वारा मुद्रित प्रति होना तात्पर्यित है, तथा हर ऐसी दस्तावेज का, जिसका ऐसी दस्तावेज होना, तात्पर्यित है जिसका किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा रखा जाना किसी विधि द्वारा निर्दिष्ट है, यदि ऐसी दस्तावेज सारतः उस प्रारूप में रखी गई हो, जो विधि द्वारा उपेक्षित है, और उचित अभिरक्षा में से पेश की गई हो, असली होना उपधारित करेगा।

લંડન ગેઝેટ હોવાનું અથવા કોઇ રાજપત્ર અથવા બ્રિટીશ ક્રાઉનના કોઇ સંસ્થાન, આશ્રીત પ્રદેશ કે કબજા નીચેના પ્રદેશનું સરકારી ગેઝેટ હોવાનું અથવા કોઇ વર્તમાનપત્ર કે જર્નલ હોવાનું અથવા રાણીના મુદ્રકે છાપેલી યુનાઇટેડ કિંગ્ડમની પાર્લામેન્ટના કોઇ ખાનગી અધિનિયમની નકલ હોવાનું અભિપ્રેત હોય તેવો દસ્તાવેજ, અને જેને કોઇ વ્યકિતએ રાખવાનું કાયદાથી ફરમાવ્યાનું અભિપ્રેત હોય તેવા દરેક દસ્તાવેજ, જો મહ્દઅંશે કાયદા મુજબ આવશ્યક હોય તે રુપમાં રાખવામાં આવ્યો હોય અને યોગ્ય હવાલામાંથી રજુ કરવામાં આવ્યો હોય, તો તે દસ્તાવેજનું ખરાપણું ન્યાયાલયે માની લેવું જોઇશે.
